Weddings at Polhawn Fort are SPECTACULAR, UNIQUE and always quite UNFORGETTABLE. The Fort is provided in a different way from hotels and other venues, so that you can have a truly wonderful day arranged just the way you - yourselves - want it. We have always held wedding receptions here, but now YOU CAN GET MARRIED HERE TOO ! (Under our Civil Marriage Licence) and keep it all under the same roof. We are able to cater for both Weekend and Mid-week weddings. 

Banquet or Buffet - you choose, and you can choose your own table layout and your own caterers too.

If you have family or friends who are not able to join you on your special day we can make special arrangements which will allow them to see the ceremony, as it happens, from anywhere in the world.

The Fort
After crossing the drawbridge and entering the Fort you will find a spacious Reception Area with a cozy open fire and comfortable sofas which you can arrange to suit yourselves. 

You can also choose where you would like to get married in the Fort and where to hold your wedding banquet or buffet. 

In addition you can choose from eight fabulous Bedrooms.

Outside - There are large gardens offering panoramic sea views over Whitsand Bay, which is part of the United Kingdom's Heritage Coastline. 

The Fort has its own Private Beach in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
