Gainsborough Restaurant
Eating at The Grand is a pleasurable experience and the Gainsborough restaurant provides an elegant but comfortable environment in which to enjoy some delicious dining, with something to suit every palate.

Dinner is a leisurely feast with a daily changing Table d'Hote menu featuring locally sourced ingredients from the abundant Devon larder, with fish from coastal waters - all mixed with flair, imagination and flavour uppermost in mind.

The spacious and elegant Compass Lounge, with its feature bar and huge picture windows that provide great views, is a welcoming place to sit and just watch the world go by. The Compass Lounge offers tempting menu options for Lunch, Afternoon Tea, a snack or a drink - whatever the time of day.

Weddings
The Grand holds a Civil Wedding licence and is a popular location for weddings though the hotel only hosts one wedding at a time - in deference to the Brides! A Rolls Royce and Bentley are available for hire.

Conferences
The hotel's advanced conference facilities deem it an ideal location for meetings, conferences and functions and any number from 10 - 350 can be catered for. The Grand is conveniently placed for the International Riviera Conference Centre and the train station, for easy travel, is opposite the hotel.
