The Ilsington Country House Hotel, perched high on the rolling hills of the Dartmoor National Park in Devon, offers spectacular views of Haytor. Rooms
Our rooms are everything you would expect from a 3 star country house hotel. Every bedroom is individual, each one with an en-suite bathroom and 3-star facilities. All our rooms offer a spectacular panoramic view of the outstanding moorland scenery, which changes with every passing season. All of our rooms are non-smoking. 

Restaurant
The Ilsington Hotel prides itself on its restaurant, which serves local fare and classic dishes featuring fresh market produce. There is something to suit every occasion - a Devonshire Cream tea in the conservatory or garden, hot, buttered tea cakes by a roaring log fire, or the intimacy of the Library, which is ideal for a private dinner party or business meeting.

Our highly trained and experienced chefs offer you only the best in standards of food. The menus change daily due to availability of fresh produce. To comply with the wishes of the majority of our guests we ask that dress is smart casual for dinner in the restaurant (ie a shirt with a collar and long trousers)

Conferences
The hotel is well suited to smaller meetings and team building sessions. Its peaceful surroundings aid concentration and allow delegates to relax and focus on the job in hand. The extensive grounds and proximity to open moorland and tors make outdoor activities easy to organise.

Health Club
The Ilsington Hotel Health & Fitness Club is situated within the Dartmoor National Park yet only 5 minutes drive from the A38, and approximately 3 miles from Bovey Tracey and 6 miles from Newton Abbot. The self-contained leisure complex is well equipped with 12 metre indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, spa pool and gymnasium.

The hotel provides leisure club users with parking and full hotel facilities including bar, bar snacks, coffees and cream teas. We do request that members using the hotel facilities are dressed appropriately. The local tennis courts can be booked and paid for at the leisure club and are only 400 metres from the hotel. It is our aim to provide a friendly atmosphere in which you may relax and take your exercise. Please call in and we shall be delighted to show you around and answer any questions you may have. We offer an introductory session at £7 to help you decide whether the Ilsington Health Club is able to offer you the facilities you are looking for and if you join up that same day this fee will be refunded against the cost of the membership as a free trial.
